Sahara and mountain oasis Trail – 8 days/7 nights : ( From October to April )

Watch the sunrise and sunset over the Sahara sand dunes and Star Wars film sets. Enjoy a traditional meal at a Bedouin camp. All that combined with an original riding tour with long canters across the wide open sand dunes, rocky canyons and dry salt lakes on Barb horses.

Included : Accommodations - 5 nights in hotel, 2 nights in camping, full board, 6 riding days.

Itinerary :

Day 1	- Welcome at Tozeur or Djerba international airport by your guide, - Transfer to our hotel in Tozeur. - After a welcome cocktail drink we visit the Oasis of Tozeur. - Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 2	- After breakfast we have one hour minibus transfer to the mountain oasis of Chebika where we meet our horses and start our trail. - Our ride follows the bottom of a local dry river in a canyon landscape until we reach the Tamerza cascades. Then we cross the palm trees forest to reach Tamerza Palace hotel 5*. Diner and overnight at this splendid hotel with a panoramic view on the ruins of the old village of Tamerza
Day 3	- We leave Tamerza to the Djebel Redayef canyons mountain. - It is our big adventure day, as we will climb on horses to the top of the highest mountain (900 m). - The view from the top is stunning. In the afternoon, we ride down the mountains by the south side until our comfortable camping. - Diner and overnight at the camping
Day 4	- After breakfast we leave the mountains area to the Sahara desert through the great oriental Erg. It's a day full of long canters and lot of meeting with wild camels. we will have lunch at Chekmou oasis and carry on to Neflayet oasis. - Diner and overnight at our comfortable camping
Day 5	- We have breakfast at the camping then we carry on to Ibn Chabbat oasis through a very exotic Sahara desert landscape. - Diner and overnight at the hotel in Tozeur
Day 6	- Breakfast at the hotel. - We leave the sand dunes to ride over the salt lake landscapes of Chot El Gharsa until the Start wars film set at Lariguet. - After lunch we carry on to Nefta oasis. - Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Nefta
Day 7	- Today we ride on the big Chot El Jerid salt lake (the second biggest salt lake in the world). After lunch we carry on to the oasis of Tozeur. - Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tozeur
Day 8	- Transfert to the airport.
